Beta Prostate Review
The prostate is a part of the male reproductive system, which includes the penis, prostate, seminal vesicles, and testicles. The prostate is located just below the bladder and in front of the rectum. It is about the size of a walnut and surrounds the urethra (the tube that empties urine from the bladder).
For most men, enlargement of the prostate (BPH) is a normal part of aging. Both BPH and prostate cancer can cause the prostate to grow larger. An enlarged prostate may cause men to have trouble starting or maintaining urination, it may cause the need to urinate more often and have urine leaks when they least expect.
Taking Beta Prostate daily helps to improve the quality of a man’s life, rise in the morning feeling more refreshed and energized.

Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens/Sabal serrulata) is a palm-like plant with berries. The berries were a staple food and medicine for the Native Americans of the southeastern United States. In the early 1900s, men used the berries to treat urinary tract problems, and even to increase sperm production and boost libido. Today, the primary use of saw palmetto is to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland.
It contains plant-based chemicals that may be effective for BPH. Researchers think that saw palmetto may affect the level of testosterone in the body, and perhaps reduce the amount of an enzyme that promotes the growth of prostate cells. Saw palmetto also seems to have an anti-inflammatory effect on the prostate. At least one study has shown even greater anti-inflammatory activity when saw palmetto is combined with lycopene and selenium.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is a common occurrence in almost all men over 50. The prostate gland is a walnut shaped gland that surrounds the urethra like a doughnut and produces the seminal fluid that carries the sperm. When the prostate gland enlarges, it tends to compress the urethra, narrowing its diameter and creating symptoms such as restrictive urine flow.
Other annoying symptoms of an enlarged prostate are frequent and sometimes painful urination, nighttime urination (nocturia), difficulty in starting and stopping urination, and a feeling that the bladder is not really empty.
Several studies suggest that the saw palmetto herb is effective for treating symptoms, including too frequent urination, having trouble starting or maintaining urination, and needing to urinate during the night. The urethra, the tube that empties urine from the body, runs through the prostate gland in men. When the prostate gland is enlarged, men may have trouble urinating.
Some studies show that saw palmetto is as effective in treating symptoms as finasteride (Proscar) without side effects, such as loss of libido. Other studies suggest that saw palmetto may actually shrink the size of the prostate gland. Due to the short duration (usually less than 3 months) of these studies.
In recent years science has confirmed that Saw Palmetto is an effective herbal remedy in helping to treat the common symptoms associated with and enlarged prostate gland.
If a man experiences symptoms, they should see a physician who will likely do a simple PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood test, an excellent screening test for prostate cancer. With the prevalence of prostate cancer, the American Cancer Society recommends that this test be performed annually for any man over 40.
It is important to receive a proper diagnosis of BPH from your doctor to rule out prostate cancer. And in addition to this, many natural and allopathic physicians will recommend that use of Saw Palmetto because it has been shown in clinical studies to have beneficial effects in reducing the symptoms of BPH.
Beta prostate also contains Saw Palmetto Extract (SPE) which also been used for many years to help maintain urinary tract health. Saw Palmetto contains natural oils that numerous studies have shown may inhibit the conversion of testosterone to dihydro-testosterone (DHT) within the prostate.
Recently Leonard Marks, M.D. stated “Saw palmetto extract (SPE) should now be considered a treatment option for men with symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), absent complications of the disorder.
SPE is extremely safe; it is likely to exert positive effects; many patients want it; and more potent remedies, i.e., drugs or surgery, are generally not required in most BPH cases.”
Recently an extract derived from the Saw Palmetto berry has been used to treat male genitourinary problems. It grows naturally in the southeast United States, and has been used as a folk remedy for this issue for hundreds of years.
